Every Onzo account starts in test mode. Test mode gives you the complete API surface — payments, screening, webhooks, returns — with simulated settlement and no real funds.
Test mode requires no approval. You can build your full integration, including exception handling, before starting KYB review.
What is simulated
- Settlement completes in seconds instead of minutes
- Screening runs against a test dataset with deterministic triggers (see below)
- Webhooks fire exactly as in production
Deterministic screening triggers
Use these values in test mode to force specific screening outcomes and build your exception handling:
