Expected payments
Declare incoming payments in advance — Onzo matches them automatically on arrival.
An expected payment (oz_exp_) is a declaration: "we expect to receive approximately this amount, from this counterparty, with this reference." When a matching payment arrives, Onzo links them automatically — reconciliation without manual work.
curl https://api.onzo.la/v1/expected_payments \
-H "Authorization: Bearer oz_sk_..." \
-d '{
"account": "oz_acct_1a8c33",
"amount": { "value": "12500.00", "currency": "USD", "tolerance": "0.02" },
"counterparty_name": "Comercial Andina SpA",
"reference": "INV-2026-0851",
"expires_at": "2026-07-20T00:00:00Z"
}'
When the incoming payment arrives and matches, the expected_payment.matched webhook fires with both objects linked. Unmatched arrivals surface as unreconciled — nothing silently disappears into a suspense account.
`tolerance` accepts a fractional variance (here 2%) to absorb FX drift and intermediary fees on the sending side.
